Profish is formulated with eco-friendly bacteria, enzymes and prebiotics in  order to provide better environment for the cultured fish. Water is an environment in which other organisms, including many species of  saprophytic bacteria inhabiting sediments and plants as well as phyto and  zooplankton survive. They colonise the skin, gills and digestive tract of fish,  living there as commensals, supporting digestion or threaten fish health and  therefore are referred to as conditionally pathogenic such as Aeromonas sp,  Pseudomonas sp, Flavobacterium, Vibrio sp etc. Some of the common bacterial  diseases found in fish are red disease, fin/tail rot, dropsy, columnaris, gill disease  etc. which hinders the yields and profitability in fish farming. It is advisable to  regularly use probiotics to maximizes beneficial microorganisms and minimizes  pathogenic bacterial loads in fish ponds.
